Build My Resume — Free"Led a cross-functional team of 12 to deliver a $2.4M ERP migration on time and 8% under budget" tells a hiring manager your scale, your team size, and your result in one sentence. That is the formula.
Three numbers anchor every project description: how much money you managed, how many people you coordinated, and whether you hit the deadline. If you cannot remember all three, include what you have.
PMP, CAPM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2 — these are often required or strongly preferred. Use the Custom Section feature to list them with certification numbers and renewal dates.
Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, or a hybrid? State it explicitly. Hiring managers and ATS systems scan for the methodology their team uses. Do not assume it is implied.
PM roles are as much about communication as execution. Include examples of managing executive stakeholders, cross-department alignment, or vendor relationships. "Reported weekly to C-suite on program status across 5 workstreams" is concrete and impressive.
Jira, Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence, Notion, Monday.com — these are keyword-matched in ATS filters. Add them to your Skills section.
Strong PMs prevent problems. If you caught a blocker early, re-scoped a project to meet a deadline, or recovered a delayed launch, include it. "Identified dependency risk 6 weeks early, enabling re-sequencing that saved the launch date" is a strong bullet.
Include relevant terms in your Skills and experience sections to improve ATS pass rates.
